![It all started with the hop. Built around Alora, a modern American variety known for its soft stone fruit, bright citrus, and subtle floral notes, Chris landed on a name that felt like a natural extension of the beer itself. Something that kept the sound, the movement, and the characterā¦ without being literal. Modern, melodic, and forward-moving, it just fit the idea from the jump.

ELIORA
/// (SMaSH) Pale Ale
[5.9% ABV / 35 IBU]
SMaSH stands for single malt and single hopā¦ a stripped down approach that uses just one grain and one hop, letting the raw ingredients speak for themselves. In this case, Irish Origin Gold malt and Alora hops are doing all the work.
The result is a pale ale that drinks clean and crisp with soft stone fruit, gentle citrus, and a subtle floral lift. What the kids refer to these days as an absolute CRUSHER.

![Every year, breweries across NJ and beyond take part in the @melesaswings project ā a charity collaboration founded by @yankeerunner77 (in memory of his mom) that honors those weāve lost to cancer, with proceeds going to support cancer research and awareness.
Each participating brewery brews their own āWingsā beer, named in tribute to someone special. This year, ours isā¦
KARINāS WINGS šŖ½

Brewed in memory of Karin Rose Pierson, who passed nearly ten years ago after her battle with cancer. Karin was the mother of our taproom employee Dennis, whoās been part of the Ghost Hawk family long before he ever worked here.
If youāve spent time around the taproom, you probably know Dennis. He and his dad John were among our earliest supportersā¦ part of the OG founding members club that helped get the brewery off the ground in 2019. Dennis moved out to Colorado for a few years, but when he came back home last year, he walked through our doors, asked if we were hiring, and heās been a part of the team ever since.
When it came time to brew this beer, Dennis joined Chris in the brewhouse to help bring it to lifeā¦ a small but powerful way to honor his momās memory.
Karin always loved yellow roses ā her middle name was Rose ā and she used to tell Dennis, āLove you to the moon and back.ā Youāll find both of those details on the label, making this release a true reflection of who she was.
Karinās Wings is brewed with 2-Row, Chit, and Cara Blonde malts, then hopped with Nectaron, Nelson, and Simcoe Cryo for waves of citrus, stone fruit, and tropical aromaticsā¦ bright, soft, and full of life.
Weāre proud to dedicate this yearās Wings beer to Karinā¦ a mother, wife, friend, and someone who clearly helped raise one hell of a good man.
š Proceeds from Karinās Wings will be donated in her memory to support cancer research.
This one drops in cans and draft on Friday. Wasnāt planned as a Halloween beer, it just happened that way. But maybe that timingās a little poetic.

Itās not a MƤrzen. Itās not a Festbier. Itās something lighter, brighter, and rooted in the harvestā¦ and itās just the start.

A term coined by Chris, inspired by his rush hour commutes through Bergen and Passaic countiesā¦ on a mission to make all the excellent suds you sip on the regular.
This beer leans into that same chaotic energyā¦ dry and punchy with big tropical hop character, and a Belgian yeast profile that cuts through the haze like a horn blast on Route 21.
Built on Dutch ale malt, oats, and a stacked hop combo: Motueka and HĆ¼ll Melonā¦ with some Rakau Amplifire and Vista for good measure.
